On the 27th day of Nisan (April 19th this year), Jews all over the world celebrate the Holocaust Memorial Day (Jom HaShoah).
In the morning, the sound of the horns stopped the traffic in all of Israel. All the bars, restaurants and places offering entertainment are closed.

We are happy to inform you that the Higher School of Hebrew Philology in Torun is cooperating with the Warsaw Jewish Radio. The radio is a new, non-commercial initiative bringing Jewish literature and music to its audience. Listening to the Warsaw Jewish Radio gives the opportunity to learn about Judaism from the best, like the chief Polish Rabbi Michael Schudrich, Rabbi Tyson Herberger, Chief Rabbi of Cracow Boaz Pasch, Rabbi Daniel Simons, and also the Higher School of Hebrew Philology in Torun.
